Everything about the third funding round of the Heating Act

The third funding round of the Heating Act has started and offers attractive subsidies for switching to climate-friendly heat pumps. Homeowners, flat owners and even local authorities can benefit from state subsidies of between 30 and 70 per cent. Applications can be submitted immediately via the KfW customer portal, with 36 months left for installation after approval.

Up to 70 % State subsidy for heat pumps in 2024

From 2024, Germany will support the switch to heat pumps with comprehensive subsidies. The main subsidies include the basic subsidy, the climate speed bonus, the income-related bonus and the efficiency bonus. In total, the subsidy is limited to a maximum of 70% of the investment costs.
